Live @ VimmaOctober 27th, 2008 Moro! After a long break we came out from the closet, equipped with new drummer and an adorable amount of knocking-out speaks to throw in during the tuning breaks. And like every self-respecting salesman would continue: “That’s not all”. Two new songs saw daylight and an oldie was taken out from the attic in Ever Since The Day’s first gig with the new lineup in Vimma 10.10.2008!
Info on Friday’s gig in VimmaOctober 8th, 2008 Hello! Unfortunately we don’t yet know our schedule for the gig on Friday. So keep on checking this site, we’ll update the information as soon as we get it! We do know something, though. The doors open at 19.00 and the first band will hit the stage at 19.30. The tickets cost 4 € from the door. You can also buy your tickets beforehand directly from Vimma for 3 euros a piece. If you inspite of all are stuck somewhere else, and can’t be present in Vimma, no worries! Poparena.net WebTV will be broadcasting the whole show live on the net! You just need Real Player installed on your computer to watch the broadcast. So click on your way to Poparena.net to check the instructions and to find the link to the stream. This page is unfortunately only in Finnish, but the link to the stream will be updated on the page about half an hour before the broadcast starts. That means at about 18.30 Finnish time. Enjoy! Victory & new gig!August 25th, 2008 Hi there, At first I’m happy to announce that our song Forever won the mikrofoni.net site’s song competition with a clear margin to the other competitors. Thank you for voting us! Today afternoon (14:00 - 18:00) it is possible to hear some of our songs in the mikrofoni.net internet radio show, so check it out! Secondly, the first gig with the new lineup is scheduled to be 10th of October in Vimma. We are enthusiastically looking forward to be on stage again! See you in Vimma! Third interesting event to mention is that Urheilukanava TV channel features our music in a Street Hockey SM roundup program. Pay your TV-license and see what kind of a sport Street Hockey is.

Fresh winds blowing: A new drummer and a new song onlineJuly 29th, 2008 Hey there, finally something has happened in the Ever Since The Day camp. After months of searching we have finally found a new drummer. His name is Joni, and he was selected because he’s tall, dark and handsome. He also knows a thing or two about playing the drums. He has loads of skeletons in his closet but I’ll let him tell about those later. Now we’re getting to know each other and our musical likings and all that. Man, sounds like getting in a serious relationship… But I guess in a way it’s just like that. Now we’re going through the archives and selecting new songs and we’ll probably rearrange a few of the old ones too, we’ll see how it goes. Hopefully we’ll be ready to hit the stages in the upcoming fall. But yeah, all in all, it seems that there’s finally some light at the end of the tunnel! Our marketing department hinted us that now it is the best time to release a new song, so behold: The song “Forever” is now available in here, Mikseri.net, Facebook, MySpace, etc. All the appropriate places, you know the drill. The waiting is over, Stay Silent Forever is finally here!May 14th, 2008 Hey! Believe it or not, finally - almost half a year late - our little hands are holding a big pile of cds. The demos came from the pressing today and we can’t wait to get rid of them. As said earlier, they are ridiculously cheap, only 2 euros a piece. Buy, buy, buy, spend, spend, spend! Other bands releasing their record today are such as Diablo, Von Hertzen Brothers, and XL5. It’s going to be a tough battle, but we hope to outsell them on the first week. If you want to order the demo, check for more information at the Music page. Stay Silent is available at just a click away. Open the music player and enjoy the sweet lullaby. Maybe after some time we’ll put the other song online too, but for now you’ll have to buy the demo, or settle for just one song. Your choice. I’d recommend buying. A monkey is just what your cd shelf is longing for. What else, you say? As you see, we have a shiny new banner here. A bit of Botox injected right in to the kernel, so to say. In addition, we’ve opened a Facebook profile, go check that out here. Major changes are also coming to the MySpace site as soon as the geek department gets the workareas running, the guys at the basement are coding their asses off. But wait, that’s not all. We’ve added a few new photos to the Media section. There’s one guy less than last time, but the total weight of the band has not changed, thanks to the last year’s heavy fat diet. -Kari
Finnish Democracy?April 11th, 2008 Dear friends! Final evidence of the bad karma associated with our new demo have come up. We just found out that the cd supplier we are using has had some serious problems in their production line, so again the release has been postponed. This time just for a couple of weeks, hopefully. As one of our loyal fans pointed out, it seems that even Guns N’ Roses have beat us. They have finally finished the recordings of Chinese Democracy, and the master has been handed over to their record company. I think most people didn’t think that this day would never come and I must admit that we just might have had similar thoughts about our demo every now and then… So maybe we should honor this once-so-great rock band and rename our record? ;) Well anyway, let’s keep our hopes up! Meanwhile we have continued the search for a new drummer. And at the same time we also had to find a new rehearsal space. Fortunately we found a good place yesterday, so one of our worries is now left behind. More news about drummers and demos about to come, so stay tuned. And remember to enjoy the sunny spring days! -Johannes
Almost thereMarch 17th, 2008 Howdy, I bet you thought that this day would never come, I at least had doubts. On the course of this so called project of ours faith was an ingredient we were seriously lacking every now and then. But we managed to get a grip on ourselves, and finish the record. It should be ready in a few weeks, the cd’s have been sent to press so it shouldn’t take long. It includes two songs, Stay Silent and Forever, and us being the oh so witty and inventive people you know we are, the name is no less than “Stay Silent Forever”. I bet even Einstein couldn’t have topped that one. But the name makes sense, right? The price tag says 2 euros (+postage), that’s a bargain you don’t want to miss. The cover art is heavily inspired by Robbie Williams’ Escapology and it looks something like this:
