Odot vartti!
These few words will sum up a crucial part of the event. “The timetable has changed, you’ll be playing at 19:05. The doors will open at 19:00 as scheduled. And yeah, move your cars so that Apulanta’s bus gets to drive in front of the door.” And there we were standing in the snow with our amps in our hands…

Well well, what do you know, yet another band contest, and yet another semifinal place for us. We’ve been selected as one of the 20 semifinalists among over 700 bands! Quoting Automatic Eye quoting OutKast: “How cool is that? Ice cold.”
5 bands will go to the finals based on the sales in Radio Rock store, so the 5 top-selling artists will sail through to the finals. Was that confusing enough…? So yes, you need to buy the song that has been available for downloading (for free, I might add) for a year now. Why? Because it makes you feel better, for the cause is good, and it could lead us to the finals. And I know you’re all eager to vote us to the finals.

Greetings from the popland,
we’ve just released a new song, titled 362. The song was recorded during this winter, and this too was just a recording rehearsal but we decided to share it with you guys anyway. The song had a real pop edge to it already in the first place, and instead of trying to hide it, we decided to take it to the next level, and to push it through a pop-filter, so to speak. Just imagine a warm summer breeze and a holiday while listening.
We thought that this would be the perfect time to release the song, since today we turned the clocks to summer time (plus, it’s also Jouni’s name day). After all, at least here in Turku the amount of snow is probably the highest all winter. Who the hell said Greenhouse effect was a total hoax?
The song can be found from the music player. For all the lazy ones, click here. If you want to download the song, surf your way to our mikseri.net -site. Hope you enjoy!

Buongiorno!
I decided to make this journal with a different approach, this time I’m going to interview myself. Maybe I’ll ask something from the rest of the guys too, we’ll see. Quantity over quality (I’m not trying to say, that everyone else’s answers would be low in quality. If you’ve read these journals before, you know that my stories are at the bottom of the quality chart.).

Hola,
On the 23rd of January we played yet another gig at TVO Turku. This gig was organized by Napalmi Productions and we shared the stage with Hybrid Children and Hellcity Punks. I don’t know if it was our improved set or the just released Hybrid Children’s new album, but there were a good number of people present.

Hey there,
If you like our voices, but can’t stand the faces, turn your radio on on Saturday at 12:30 or on Sunday at 10:30. Tune in to Radio Sata (Turku 105,5 MHz, Salo 105,2 MHz) to hear my and Johannes’s smooth velvety voices.
Yesterday’s gig went well, and as the drummer of Raaka-Aine said: “Olitte illan paras yleisö!” It’s Vfest-time tomorrow, hope to see all of you there. While waiting for Saturday evening go check out a video about Vfest. One of the judges explains why we were chosen. Click (select XNews vk6).
“Let’s sing a happy song, forget all the worries. Happy, happy. Let’s just sing the fucking happy song, smile and sing the fucking happy song.”

Hey,
You might’ve seen some familiar faces in today’s edition of TS Treffi. Or on Turkulainen. Or maybe Aamuset? We conquered all the local newspapers with our ugly faces and humble opinions. As if this wasn’t enough tomorrow (Thursday the 12th, that is) we will be on Radio Tutka on around 16:30. Tune in to hear Jouni revealing secrets about his relationship with Dingo.

Feel yourself welcome to Klubi tomorrow. To be there, or not to be there, your call. But take into account, that your presence would make us happy. The show starts roughly at 21:00, and we are the second band to perform (around 22:00).
The news are still not over. The schedules for Vfest are published (available in here), and we are the first band to perform. We’ll start at 19:30, so all you early birds will catch the worms.

Hey there,
I have some good news. We will play at Klubi with Raaka-Aine and Five Minutes For Myself on the 12th of February. Definitely worth checking out. FMFM is responsible for one of the best hangover songs, Shaking Shaking Shaking. Come to Klubi, but beware of the mighty hangover!
I don’t know if this is worth mentioning, but on the 14th of February we will play in Vfest at Radio Sata-Areena, Turku Fair and Congress Center with such minor bands as Apulanta and Disco Ensemble, just to name a few! How cool is that?!? Us on the same stage with the boys (or men) of Apulanta and Disco Ensemble. Yeah, my thoughts exactly. We’re gonna look soooo fat.
We were chosen to play through a competition. Read the thoughts of the jury from the site of Radio Sata. More information to come, stay tuned!

Hello world
Hello world
Hello world
Now that I have the attention of every nerd reading our website, I might as well go all the way with the IT jokes. On the 19th of December 2008 we played a show at TVO, Turku. The other acts were Rendez-Vous and Kansantauti. And for all of you who don’t have investigative journalist’s blood running in your veins, our former drummer Archie is now playing drums in Rendez-Vous.
